Hello,

i have a problem with ntfs and permissions.
I am having a folder where i get access denied.
But i am the admin and does anyone have any idea
how to change the permission that i can access this
folder?

Thanks a lot

Dirk

Try setting the owner of the folder to Administrators. This should clear all
permissions and then you will be able to add Administrators in with FC to
then be able to view the contents of the folder. DOn't forget to add System
in with FC too.

Hello Paul,

thanks for your reply. But this was the first i tried.
Unfortunaley there is no permission tab on the folder.
Additionally i changed the owner of the upper level
folder and checked replace owner and permmissions on
all subfolders. But without an result. -> Permission
denied. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks a lot
