I cannot give you any more details. Here are a few
details below.
1. File and Printer sharing is disabled - Make sure File
and Printer sharing is enabled. If not, this can cause
machines not to show up in the workgroup.
2. Workgroup names are different - Make sure each machine
have the same workgroup name.
3. Different Subnet mask - Make sure each machine have a
common subnet mask.
4. Usually problems eventually works itself out after a
period of time, after the machines have had a chance to
work everything out on the network. I beleive that
Windows defaults to broadcasting every 20 minutes and
usually if it is missing in Network Neighboorhood after
rebooting, it shows up in the Workgroup after 20 minutes.
5. Firewalls that are not properly configured.
