Hello all,
I have installed a printer on a PC that connects to a
domain. I installed the printer while logged into the
local PC, not the domain, it is a WIN XP machine. Other
computers that login to the domain can add the printer
However, I have a WIN 2K Machine that is connected to the
network, but when we login to it, we login to the local
PC, this is the way it has to be. I can see and ping the
computer that the printer is conected to, when I click on
the computer, it asks me for a username and password.
whatever I type does not work, I cant create a user
account on the computyer with the printer on it that is
the same as the Win 2K machine. -- anyway to fix this??
If I login to the domain with the WIN 2K Machine, I can
add the printer.
Another note is that Z can see and view other resources /
computers without being prompted for a user/pass.
Any ideas? thanks
