problem with network printer

Horst

I set up several new computers with XP Professional and
made the connection to network printers. With one pc a
problem occurs:

When selecting the network printer the error message
appears on the screen, that no connection to the spooler
list is possible because a system rule is against. But i
have no idea which one and where to find.

Any ideas around? Thanks a lot.

This sounds like a permissions issue.
Are you logged onto the computer as an administrator?

No, i am not logged in as an administrator. I only want to
add printer to a user.

Yes, I understand that,
but you need to be an administrator in order to install a printer.
So you will need to login to the computer where you wish to add the printer
as a user with administrative rights and try again.
