In Dreams I Walk With You

I have NIS2003 installed but suddenly the AV-part doesn't work properly
anymore. "Auto protect" is has been turned off (by itself) and can't be
enabled anymore. Some sort of "internal error".

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this ? Thanks,

According to Symantec themselves, when an antivirus softare all of a student
stop working you should consider that you might have been hit by a virus not
yet detected by the antuvirus.

Just wondering if perhaps your subscription to the autoupdates has run out?
No idea if that is a feature of NIS or not - I don't use it. Sounds like
something Symantec would do though.

Some of the new Internet worms can disable Norton's auto-protect (and
sometimes the firewall too). I suggest you restart your machine in Safe
Mode and run a complete scan, with the latest virus definitions.
