Hi
I've this problem with my new pc (homebuilt). 3.3V is very weak. MbM5 lets
me know that when I'm playing 3.3V drop off to 3.04V! (average is 3.19v).
Sometimes when I shutdown or reset my pc , display goes in this way:

After restarted, Windows detects the following error details: (it's in
Italian Language, but the important part of the error is above, in English)
http://mkastropage.altervista.or/img/errore.jpg

And also sometimes happens that when I start my pc, cd-writer's led is
intermittent and when I push the button of the unit, nothing happens. Then,
when Windows is loading and when it must show desktop, display becomes black
and I can hear (absolutely nothing from speakers) that Windows is not
loading. I need to restart my pc and all is ok.

In your opinion is the power supply? Do you recommend to buy a new Enermax
or Antec PSU? Actually I have a 300W:
3.3 @ 14A (while Enermax gives 28-30A, can I resolve my 3.3V problem?)
5 @ 30A
12 @ 15A

Thanks in advance

3.3 volts is way out of spec at 3.04v, which is 5%(3.13 to 3.43) and
could be your problem.
By the way you dropped the g from org in the links.

The error message means zero to me, but I would try a new supply
first.

Take a voltage reading at the power supply connector with a multimeter.
Compare that to the motherboard monitor reading. If the multimeter
reading is much closer to 3.3V then you have a motherboard or video card
problem. If the multimeter reading is similarly low (even if just
slightly higher than) as the MDM reading then replace the power supply.

Enermax are overrated per capacity, either buy higher wattage Enermax than
with the other brands else get the Antec instead, or Sparkle/Fortron,
Delta, PCPower&Cooling, etc.

It sounds like a 380 or 430 Watt Antec Tru Power power supply unit is
exactly what you need.
