I can go thru flight school and all the learning videos
just fine. But when I am flying a plane, even while I'm on
the runway, a voice from my computer keeps
repeating "system failed cpu test" and keeps repeating it
all thru the flight. Everything else seems to work just
fine. Has anyone had the same type of problem before or
have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

thanks,
Jay

Hard to tell without specific information about your processor, Jay. FS
2004 CoF requires a 450-megahertz (MHz) processor. If you're running below
that, you may be out of luck. Do you over-clock anything on your system?
Please post back with more information.

To Chris H. I have a 1.83(GHz) processor with 1024 MB of
ram. My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE.0 and
I updated my driver after I bought Flight simulator. The
thing I don't understand is why would every thing work
perfect on it if it doust't have enough power. I can fly,
I have great scenery, all kinds of weather, and every
thing is smooth? The only thing that sticks in my mind is
that when I loaded the program I disabled my virus
protection and thought I had diabled my fire wall, but I
found out later that it was still working to some degree
and finally had to delete it. Would that have caused the
problem? Any thoughts or ideas,

Never heard that message in association with FS, what else is running
at the same time? Did you check your computer for virus and spyware?
