Problem with multiboot............

I have a problem deleting a multiboot winxp-pro installation, I can not
find a way to delete the 2nd install, can somebody tell me how, please??
I had to install the 2nd win installation because of a crash of the
first one because of a bad app install.

it is easy redfox : ) just go click start, then run and then type
msconfig and then you will see the system configuration utility table
and then click the BOOT.INI TAB then there you have it the two or three
operating system that you installed and you can choose which one to
delete it ; )
 
Well, it maybe is easier for you but I don't see any delete button
there, if I click on the one entry that I want to delete, it just offers
to make it the default and is no other buttons but move up or down??
Maube you can explain the procedure a bit better??

previously received address eliminating a dual boot option entry presented
when booting up.
Usually when a second instance of XP is installed without removal of an
initial installation you are presented with a "dual boot" option asking
which installation do you want to boot.
Not too much info given - I assume you want to delete a Windows installation
from the HD?
 
Yes, that's what I want to do, delete the second instal which I made
until I could fix the first one.

I'm really in need of deleting my second instance of winxp-pro
installation but I'm unable to do it because I get *access denied** when
I try do it or if I go to winexplorer and try to delete it from there I
get an error message that that say's that *flash.ocx* is running and it
stops.
Any help please?? What is the best way to delete this second install??
