can any one tell me how to fix this problem, when i import a movie into movie maker i get a sending error message on a divx412.dll file and then shuts down,it does it every time...........

I assume it is a divx encoded file and thisd will be causing a conflict with
MM2. You need to try another file type and check out the codec issues at

Divx and MPEG2 issues are often related to not having an appropriate codec
installed, rather than a conflict between codecs on the computer. MM2 gets
codecs automatically from a Microsoft site... expect for those they can't or
don't provide, such as Divx and MPEG2.

The pages of the site that deals with these is the Importing Source Files >
Video > AVI and MPEG2. For Divx, it's the AVI page.
