Hi Saki:
Missing capacitors ceramic? It there a VGA port on the mother-board
or only on video card? If there IS one on the mother board and you have
a video card installed, remove the video card and just use the
mother-board VGA connector to get to the bios. You may see someplace in
the bios to not use the on-board video. Also, some new ATX mother
boards have an additional 4 pin power connector that your power supply
must have. There may even be a jumper to turn off the on-board video.

Take Care!

It cannot be ruled out. But I don't think so. You can check, if you
feel paranoid.

I think more likely that the damage had already been done. When
capacitors fail, they can cause damage to other components of the
motherboard.

Another possibility is that there are still bad capacitors remaining.
It is possible for them to fail without visible damage. It is prudent,
if you see one bad capacitor, to replace all the others of the same
type.

Presumably you still have a bad cap remaining
in the area involved with that stuff.
Thanks for your time and help!!!!!
