Here's my problem: whenever I start and log into Windows
on my Dell laptop, the desktop pops up and does not fill
my monitor. This also happens when I close the monitor
with Windows still running. When I say the desktop does
not fill the screen, I mean that the desktop image is
smaller, and there is a sort of black frame that fills the
space between the edge of my monitor and the image on the
screen. The only way to resolve this problem is to change
the Display -> Resolution settings back and forth, but
it's a real pain. Anyone know what I could/should do?
Thank you much.
