Windows XP Problem with JPEG file

I'm not able to edit a jpeg file, anyone know how?

I think you will have to be a bit more specific with what is happening. What software are you using to edit the file ?

I've opened the file in Adobe Acrobat using Windows XP, (as you can tell I'm not too hot with applications other than excel)!

Adobe Acrobat is for reading PDF's. Try using Paint within XP to edit your image

Is it just an image or a complete document ?

You can add the image to a Word document, but you can't edit the image in Word.

You can edit a jpg image file - and other image file formats - with these free software applications:

Irfanview

Gimp

Picasa

All run fine in XP.
