Hello,

I just upgraded my NT 40 to 2k server which didn't have DNS so allow it
to be installed
Now when I install it I gave it a namespace of d.com.
Not realizing that is the name of Internet Domain Name so now when I
ping the d.com
I'm getting the external DNS IP and not the Static IP I setup on the 2k
server.

Now I can seem to connect my computer to the d.com Active Directory is
this because
of the conflict between external and internal DNS?

Please help

All member clients including the DC, must use only the internal DNS IP in
TCP/IP properties. Then, you will only get internal addresses.
