Problem with importing files

I get this error message every single time...

" C:\videos\Cell vids\In VCD Mpeg\Birds.mpg could not be imported.
Unspecified error "

I have created some movies before without any problems...now I get this
message all of a sudden...How do I get around this?
 
Check my website's Import Movie Source Files > Video > MPEG

If it doesn't work, then converting the file to something that does is the
route.
