problem with iexplorer/winxp pro

compatability issues with xp pro and iexlorer 6 w/sp1 when
exiting internet explorer a blue screen appears at times
and does memory dump then computer restarts.. This started
after I upgraded from win2000 pro to winxp pro. I connect
to the internet via DSL modem.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
