I have windows 2000 pro. with latestes SP which is service
pack 4. I have a problem with IE that it won't load the
page I am looking for. everything is up to date and I have
the lastest version of everything. But my problem is that,
for example, if I go to www.mdc.edu and then I click to
open class search, a window will pop up but it won't load
at all. I don't know whats wrong with it. If anybody can
help me out here, I will be grateful. My internet is
running, everything running. But I think it has to do with
the java script, but i have the java software and all its
files. Any ideas why it won't load???

Thanks in advance,

Denis

I noticed the target page for Open Class Search is a secure page. Try
following the steps at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;246725. Also please
check IE Help->About and make sure it is showing 128-bit; if it is not then
uninstall and re-install Internet Explorer 6sp1 (I assume this is the
version you are using) and re-install all critical updates from Windows
Update.

You can also try opening the target page directly; instead of left-clicking
the Open Class Search link, right-click it->Properties->select and copy the
url from the Address field and paste it into the Address box of an open
browser window.

Thank you
Yes, I have 128 bit but am going to try the right
clicking solution. I still don't know whats wrong with
it, and i know it must be with the java script and the
java virtual machine, but i do have those files installed
but i still get a blank page and its not just that page,
its all the page the i click and it pops up a new window
it won't load, but thank for your advise, am going to try
it out.

thanks,

Denis
