I have an HP 8150 XI inkjet photo printer which needed ink. I removed the HP ink tanks and replaced
them with a pair of remanufactured tanks from Metitline. The printer prints fine but it thinks both
tanks are almost empty. As far as I know, this printer will print even with empty tanks as the last
pic I printed with the old tanks started fine on one end of the paper and by the other end I got no
image........... I was wondering if there's something I need to do so the printer will read the
full tanks, or if this is normal with remanufactured tanks..........

Thanks
Brian

The only way to get a full reading on the ink cartridge is to install a
new cartridge. refilled/remanufactured cartridges will read as empty or
"unknown".
