problem with "hole"

P

paul albanese

every time I boot up, I get an error message that says a
program named "hole" is still running and needs to stop -
it asks if i want to send a report to Microsoft. After I
send report, or not, it stops the program, and I go about
me business. It does not seem to be affecting anything,
it is just an annoyance now. I hope it is not a virus or
bug that will affect me later. How do I get rid of this
thing called "hole" that needs to be ended every time I
boot up. Any help would be great. thanks

Start-run-MSCONFIG. Look in the Startup tab, see if you can find it.
Alternately, look in your Startup folder and delete it from there.

If you are concerned that this item is a virus, why not run your
antivirus program (using updated definitions) to see? You *do* have
one, right? Also remove spyware with tools like Spybot S&D and/or
Ad-aware.
