G'day all.
I've encountered a problem and I'm not too sure which newsgroup is more
relevant, so I'll post it here.
Whenever I try to use Hibernate the computer restarts telling me that it did
not shutdown properly. This happens every time. I don't know if there is a
setting that I'm supposed to enable or not, and it's got me stumped.
It may tie in with another problem that I have found. In Device Driver, it
tells me that I have an unknown device. I can't figure out what the device
maybe, as I seem to be able to account for all of my hardware devices. So I
was thinking that maybe it's something to do with the motherboard drivers.
My system is:
AMD Athlon 3000+
Gigabyte 7VM400AM-RZ motherboard
1 Gig ram
2 x 120gb Seagate h/drives - using IDE mode at the moment not RAID
250mb Radeon 9550
DVD drive + DVD burner
I would be greatful for any help.
