Problem with formula - Taking too long for calculation

Hi,

I have about 15 worksheets (more than 2000 formulas / sheet) all formula
based. All these worksheet gets data from Data sheet (about 65,000 records).
Whenever i change anything on the data side, it takes too long to
recalculate (Sometimes i may need to change several data values) .
Is there any workaround to get this faster? Or is there a way where i can
tell excel to recalculate when i want to ?

Are all those formulas really necessary??
As an example, sometimes people will use formulas to populate
say a range of dates. A1=Now(), A2=A1+1, A3=A2+1, etc.
Many of those (and others) would do just as well being converted
to values and not formulas.

tell excel to recalculate when i want to ?
Tools/Options/Calculation/Manual.
Then press F9 whenever you want the workbook to calculate.
