Problem with form results in FP2002

I have FP2002 installed on my XP Pro laptop with the
server extensions. A virtual server is active and I have
published one of the template webs to this virtual
server. I can browse the pages, etc., but when I try to
use any of the forms type pages (e.g. search), I get an
error message that says the user should report the
problem to the web master and the web master should check
the application event logs. It does not appear that any
of the form pages that return results or "do things"
work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I suspect it
has to do with webbots or something, but I am only
guessing as I am a novice and the error page message
leads me nowhere. Thanks.
 
You must be working in FP with your web locally under http://localhost and
you also must test forms, etc. under http://localhost/pagename.htm etc.

Hi Thomas,

Everything appears to be pointing locally to a virtual
web that I created based on the Corporate Presence
template. All pages are prefaced with http://hq-
taylorsteve/<page name>.... when I publish and browse
them. Here's the message I get when I just try to use the
search form. Thanks.

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log
for more details.

Ok, you need to check your log files under Control Panel | Admin. | Event
Viewer
