Problem with file access

For the past few days I've been having problems with
Windows XP Service Pack 1. If I am in Outlook and click
on an attachment, it will open the program associated with
the attachment and then give me a message in Microsoft
Outlook that says "The system cannot find the file
specified."

It's also moved to the recent documents too, though I
don't get a message there. Same goes for when I try to
open an Excel document through Windows Explorer.

Actually it's mainly with Excel documents, so maybe I
should post this to the Excel newsgroup.

If it were Outlook Express I would say to empty the Temporary Internet
Files. I don't know whether or not that helps in Outlook.
