Hi,

I have installed the Service Pack 4 on my test machine using windows
2000 server.
After I installed it, I can't see the windows Folders in Explorer
windows. The windows is there but it's all gray, I don't see the tree
of folders.

Anyone experimenting this problem or have a solution ???

Thanks.

Hi ThERiZla,

You may want to try reinstalling Internet Explorer. For more information, see the
following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article:

KB265829 - AddRemove Programs Tool May Not Work After Installing Internet
Explorer 5_5 or Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=265829

"SYMPTOMS
In addition, the Folder view pane in Windows Explorer may be blank or gray
instead of having the folder tree view."

Or, if you want to try a registry fix published at the "Tech Support Guy Bulletin
Board", see:

Windows NT/2000/XP > Explorer Folder Pane Grayed Out
