I have a Pentium 4 system with a original Intel
motherboard and 1.8 G Hz processer.

My problem is I have a 20 GB Samsung Hdd with 4
partitions (C, D, E, & F). I hade installed windows 98 on
the F drive and XP on C drive as to make a dual boot
system. Whenever I start my PC the operating system
selection menu appears and the default is windows XP.

Recently I found that when I selected windows 98 i get a
message disk not foun or wrong media selected. It was
working fine few days back but not now. The files &
folders in the F drive are not deleted and can be acessed
through the C drive (i. e. through the windows XP).

The second problem is that my system in windows XP does
not recover from standby. After the PC is put in standby
and the mouse or keyboard key is pressed the LED lights
on the CPU light up but the moniter does not start up
neither the keyboard is operational.
But if I uise the standby function in Windows XP/ or 98
on another HDD it recovers properly.

I have searched the windows knowledge base and related
sites but not able to find a solution for it.

Pl. suggest me proper remedies.

Thanks in advance.
