I am running XP, SP2 with IE7....whenever I try to move a jpeg file between 2
folders it copies it leaving it in the original folder as well as the new
folder....When I used to do it, it disappeared from the original folder, I
recently had an extra Hard Drive installed in my computer, I don't know if
that would have caused the problem....I have checked everywhere I can think
of & would appreciate any help as it is very annoying......

Right-click and drag and you'll be given three choices, Move, Copy,
Create shortcut here, and Cancel. Some file types move by default,
others copy.

Are you sure ? AFAIK, that's not true.
Drag to different drive = Copy
Drag to same drive = Move

Hold down Shift key while dragging = Force Move
Hold down Ctrl key = Copy
Hold down Alt/Ctrl+Shift = Create shortcut

Good Luck, Ayush.

That's correct.

But I can never remember those rules, so what I always prefer to do is
*right*-drag. When you right drag and release the mouse button, you
are then prompted for what you want to do, with the following choices;

Move here
Copy here
Create shortcut here.

By my reckoning that's 4 choices? or?

Hahah, you caught me!

After starting the reply, I finally looked at the menu and saw there
were actually four options. I THOUGHT I'd corrected everything.
