problem with cool'n'quiet on a K8VSE Deluxe

When Cool'n'Quiet is turned on in the bios my system ( XP SP2 )
becomes jumpy and eventually BSODs. With Cool'n'Quiet off my system is
super stable. Anyone have any ideas?
