I am with the following problem
When I try to send an email from a contact in the Contacts folder windows 7
64 bit says it's necessary configure office outlook as default email client
but the strange thing is that I have this program already configured Outlook
2007 to do so and in fact is the single e-mail client installed on my
computer
any ideas for a possible solution???

State more precisely the steps that produce this message. State what you
specified as your default email client for your OS. State how you configured
your mail transports and address book service in this Outlook profile.

well... windows 7 has a contact folder......
and there is a option from each contact to send email that is click in
action.... send mail.... but when I do that there is this message that says
it's necessary configure office outlook as default email client but the
strange thing is that I have this program already configured to do so and in
fact is the single e-mail client installed on my computer
sorry for bad english

I don´t have installed windows live mail here.... outlook 2007 is the only
software in my computer as email client.... I do not understand why this
happen???

In outlook options it says that outlook is the default email client and also
in default programs options of windows 7 says that outlook 2007 " this
program has all its defaults"

Windows Contacts has nothing to do with Outlook. Did you really mean the
"windows 7 contact folder?"
The error message indicates you have not configured a valid mail transport
in Outlook or have not configured the Outlook Address Book Service
correctly. That's why I need the answers to those 2 questions.

yes.... I am talking about windows 7 contact folder.....
the outlook adress book is ok because I imported contacts from windows
contacts to outlook....

so, how to configure a valid mail transport???

If you are using Outlook as you claim and if it is the only email program
you have, then you surely have configured a valid mail account in Outlook,
right? If so, what type of email account is it?
Are you trying to send email to a Contact in your Windows Contacts or your
Outlook contacts? That fact that you imported Contacts from Windows into
Outlook Contacts Folder confirms nothing about your Outlook Address Book. In
fact, it makes it less likely that your Outlook Address Book even works.
