Problem with computer shutting down

Hello,
I have a problem with my computer shutting down. I have done much clean up in the last week and installed AGV 8.0 virus and spyware paid version. Also the Registry Booster program. I also run Spybot and come up clean. I don't think I have any virus or spyware.

When my computer shuts down it will give me the error report when it comes back up. I am hoping someone can read this and tell me what might be wrong.

The Windows page tells me that I have a device driver problem.
The other dialogue boxes that come up are attached.

Hi and thanks for the replys. Those articles are very invormative. Bookmarks for sure.

My IT guy came over yesterday and worked on the computer for 6.5 hours. Says we are going to have to reformat. so, I guess that is what we will do.
