Dear all,

I'm using 2 modems to connect my home PC with my office PC so that I can use
my home's broadband connection in office. Everytime when I dial up my home
modem, it can answer my call but in the same time it gives a busy message to
my office PC. Both are using Windows XP.

Who can help?

I try to dailup over a narrowband to use a broadband connection because I
don't want to access the internet using broadband or dialup in office using
it should work because I successfully connect the broadband in the reverse
way.

If I understand correctly, you don't want to use a dialup to connect
to the internet in the office, but you want to use a dialup to
connect to home to connect to the internet so you can access it in
the office???????? This makes no sense at all.

cus i have to pay to isp provider if i use dialup in office, but my
broadband at home is monthly fix charge, understand now?

Sign up with Freeserve or Freeola or any ISP that offers a no-ties
service, then you only pay telephone changes which will be the same
as phoning home and a lot simpler.

I'd like to do this too...that way I can look at porn at work without
having it logged by the servers at the office. Or am I misreading the
intent here?

haha~~
i don't have interest in porn site, but i wanna flirt with girls thru' icq,
free of charge, and won't be logged by my office's server.

It may not be an optimal solution, and I haven't tested to see if it works
the same over dialup, but you could try to Remote Desktop connect to your
home PC through dialup from the office and then run ICQ on your home system
to chat. Otherwise, I think you need to setup a RAS server at home using one
of the Windows Server OS's.

You cannot share a modem over a braodband connecrtion. That requires
specialized software.
