problem with Alcor USB stick

Hi,

am using WMP11 and getting problem with my Alcor USB stick. When I connect
my USB stick, which has size of 8GB, and then copy video or music files on
it, I wont be able to play them neither direct from Stick nor after copying
them back to PC. It seems to be a problem causing by WMP-Synchronizing,
because when I format the stick and never open WMP while it's connected, the
peoblem never happends. If anyone knows about this issue, I'll be appreciate
for an answer how to fix it.
