Problem with accessing some websites like Windows Update

Hello,

I've my Vista Ultimate since yesterday, did my fresh installation,
everything works fine except that I cannot access to some websites, like
Windows Update! also found one more site that is working fine in my XP but
not on Vista. Whats wrong? Its just default instalation, no third party
applications like firewall or something, I even disabled the built-in
firewall but it doesnt help. Any suggestions plz? :(

Issue partialy solved by using my ISP's w3cache proxy, but still I dont want
to use it, its slower than typical direct connection.

Please, anyone? :(
 
I'm on the same boat !
I had some success excluding internet temporary files but I know it's a bug
of IE7 on my desktop
since in my two laptops running XP with IE7 it works fine without exluding
those files, I mean, I could
access sites that i could not on my desktop :(
