I have installed Access 97 on Windows 2003 Server and it
has worked well for several months. Recently I started
getting a message that the database was not found when I
started Access from the program icon or I get a password
prompt when I start Access by clicking on the database
icon. The only change that has been made to the server was
the installation of Terminal Services License Server and
the associated cals. I have removed and reinstalled
Access in install mode and execute mode but I still have
the same problem. Can anyone help me with this?

That's often an indication of database corruption. It is highly unusual to
corrupt an Access database when using Terminal Services. Password prompts
where none previously existed can be caused by someone changing (or just
fooling around with) the system.mdw file. They can also be caused by an
inquisitive user opening the file in Word. If the latter is the case, the
database is hosed.

I'd find and restore an old backup just to see if it fixes the problem. If
it does, try removing the problematic database and import all the files into
a new empty database.
