Hi.

I just reinstalled windows xp service pack 2 on my PC and I get a Yellow
Question Mark with an Exclemation Mark at the lower right bottom of it On a
"USB Device".

Windows Update did not help, nor did various "hotfixes" I found on the
subject.

I have an ASUS P4P800 Delux Board, which BIOS has been enabled for USB 2.0
speed.

I could use any help on the subject.

Thank you.

I tried that. ALl the updates there are for OverClocking or RAID controllers.
No new USB updates.

I would appreciate any more help on this subject

Your Asus p4p board has an i865 chipset. The chipset drivers can be
downloaded from Asus or Intel. _They must be installed_

David:
Assuming your BIOS setup *does* indicate USB 2.0 support (including the
Hi-Speed element) has been enabled (they're the defaults), have you also
installed the USB 2.0 driver from the ASUS installation CD following the
reinstall of SP2? That may account for the exclamation mark in DM.

Aside from that, are you experiencing USB 2.0 device recognition problems or
some indication that your USB 2.0 devices are not operating at USB 2.0
speeds?
Anna
