Jeff

I have 5 computers on a LAN. 4 are using Win 98 SE, Mine
is using W2kPro. Recently, I have not been able to access
resources on one of the computers. I can see it in My
Netwrk Places, but get the error msg: "Computer name" is
not accessible. The network path cannot be found.

Any help appreciated.

Yes.
Right now, both computers can see each other. The 98
computer can access the W2k, but the W2k can't access the
98.

Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup and that all useraccounts
exist on all computers (W2K/XP's). Got File- and printersharing loaded? Is
Netbios over TCP/IP enabled (Advanced properties of TCP/IP, tab WINS)?

With peer to peer networking, I've seen this problem when
the matched user account the 2k machine is using to access
the 98 machine expires. User accounts created plain jane
in 2K by default will expire after like 60 days. You have
to click the password never expires box. Remember, all
machines must have matched user accounts and passwords
with peer to peer networking.
