I am trying to distribute a presentation (using Pack & Go
option) which has links to an Excel file. However, the
recipient is unable to open the linked file.
Details :
On my slide, I have a button which is a hyperlink to an
Excel file. I then, select the Pack and Go option(from
File-->Pack and Go) & include the linked file. I email the
pngsetup.exe and the .ppz file to a colleague. However,
when he unpacks this and clicks the button, the Excel file
doesn't open up. This is error : "The address of the site
is not valid. Check the address and try again."
I am using PowerPoint 2000 SR-1.
Or is there a better way to distribute presentations
containing linked files and ensure that the files can be
viewed by the recipient?
