Hi,
I tried to connect my new Canon iP4300 printer to my USR 9108 router
but it doesn't work well: the two first documents print ok, but next
ones never start. I reinstalled and get the same result.
I asked for help by USR that gave me some instructions to change in
the parametrization of the printer, but that doesn't help.
From Canon's website, I can't find anything.

Can someone help ?

Can you give more information please. How do you have the printer
hooked up? Is it via the computer, or directly hooked to the router?
What area of the world are you located?

Thanks for your answer.

The printer is hooked up to the router using the USB port on it.
I'm located in Belgium and I'm using Windows XP.
I think I didn't write yesterday that in the queue, I see the current
printings in "Error" and some lines above are empty (which is very
curious).

To be complete, here's the info I got from US Robotics (it's english
translation from a french text, so options are maybe not correctly
translated):

"In the compatibility database between printers and print servers, the
Canon iP4300 is only partially compatible:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Canon-iP4300

This is true for all print servers based on Unix and Linux (this is
the case for almost all marks of print servers).
Nevertheless, you can try this to upgrade communication between the
printer and the print server:
1. Go to "Printers and Faxes"
2. Right click on yur printer, select "Properties"
3. On the "Port" sheet, check that option "enable bidirectional
support" isn't selected
4. Apply
5. In the sheet "Advanced options", check that last option "Enable
advanced printing features" isn't selected, then click on the button
in the middle Print Processor.
6. For the processor, select RAW and click OK.
7. Then Apply.
8. Again on the "Advanced options" sheet, select "Begin the impression
when last page has been spooled", then click Ok

It's also adviced to used PCL5 pilots."
(I didn't understand what to do with this last sentence)
