When I try to use the repair selection from right clicking the wireless
adapter, it says something like
"Unable to proceed with the repair, because following action is not able to
execute.
Deactivate network card.
Check if the network card is installed properly" (translated from norwegian)
I do not have any problem deactivating the network card from Device Manager
and I do not have any trouble using the repair on the Local Network adapter
(ethernet). Since I am able to deactivate the card from Device Manager, I
figured it might be a windows error, but I have no idea.
I have tried installing and reinstalling, updating drivers, taking the
network card in and out and done about everying I can think of. The problem
started after upgrading bios and installing new chipset drivers on a
Gigabyte K8-NF9 motherboard. The wireless network card brand is Ralink.
