Hi,

I receive the following error when trying to install the database update.

sp2.sld

TheXML parser found the following error in the file : ....\sp2.sld
An error during XML parsing
....
Reason: Not enough storage to complete this operation.

How can I correct this problem?

Dave,

The installer creates a temp folder on your system during the installation
to hold the contents of the package before inputting that info into your
database. Make sure you have free disk space to be able to hold the temp
file (about 100MB).

I also have an issue. I am abandoning the cd boot for the moment in favor of
the partition xpe install as shown in the tutorial videos.

After mimic what Mike Hall did, I edited my boot.ini file to take into
account my second partition.

I restarted my computer and chose my xpe boot.

I then recieve the following error:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt.
<windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
Please re-install a copy of the above file"

What are my options to correct this?

I think that the problem is that the PC is under the specification for
installing Embedded Studio (128 MB RAM). Thanks for the hint. I'll rty with a
better PC.
