| Hello,
|
| I have installed the second processor by using the different jumpers
present
| in the second processor (a soltek; the first one is a real intel).
|
| They have the same caracteristics (P III 667/256/133/1.65V)
But I wonder if they have the same code onboard, or will co-habit in the
same machine. Have you contacted both Soltek and Intel about this
possibility?
| Now my computer boots but windows 2000 server only see one processor even
if
| I have changed the ACPI Monoprocessor to ACPI multiprocessor.
Have you booted into safe mode? Tried Add New Hardware? Is there a CD with
the new processor that one might use?
| Can we see if both processors are visibles in the BIOS ?
| Do I have to switch to MPS Multiprocessor?
I would assume that if the option is present but disabled in BIOS try
enabling it and then boot again.
