I just got all caught up with my updates and now PC is acting wierd.
Screen is jumpy. Can get to windows to stay open at same time.
I keep getting different error msg's from different programs.

I've run a virus scan using Micro Trends Housecall. I am virus
free and this is the only thing I've done to the PC is update.

Any suggestions?

try uninstalling the updates you have applied to see what
caused the problem using add remove prgrammes or from within
c:/winnt

To my knowledge you cannot uninstall win2000

You may need to format disk and start from scratch

good luck

Well since no one has replied I tried to figure this out myself, with
no luck, so I've decided to UNINSTALL WIN 2000 and go back to
Win 98 that isn't so hard to control. Anyone know how to do it?
My tries at doing an Uninstall didn't work nor did reformatting the
hard drive.

Geoff......can you give me the directions on how to format the HD?
I tried via the old Dos command, Format c: /s and it wouldn't do
it. Is there something in Win2000 that prohibits that command?
I think it would be better to wipe the HD clean and start over. I
inherited this Win2000 OS on the PC my son-in-law gave me and
so I'm not sure of all the things that have been done before me.
