The address you provide isn't valid. It is neither a server nor a newsgroup.
I can't make it work no matter what I try. Can you check again, please? It
looks like a server address, sort of, and it looks nothing like the
newsgroup address. By way of explanation, this group is named
"microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail". You can access it using any
newsreader, and on most news servers. news://msnews.microsoft.com is a news
server. It carries the newsgroup above, and all other MS newsgroups, but it
does not carry other newsgroups like yours. For that, you need a public
server. Most ISPs have their own server, and there are also places like
Google Groups, which is also a server but you access it using an online
newsreader instead of your local client (Windows Mail, Outlook Express,
Forte Agent, etc.) News servers "sync" on a regular basis. They share the
groups to one extent or another, so that all messages on all groups that are
carried by that server are the same as on other servers that also carry
those groups. Very few servers carry all groups for all time. Google is
perhaps the only one these days.

So again, you need to verify that address.
