problem summing across worksheets

I am trying to sum the amount in cell C20 for about 50 worksheets. I
have checked cell c20 and it has a valid amount in each cell. I keep
getting either the total of c20 on the 1st ws plus c20 on the last ws,
or I get a #value. I know this can't be hard, please help.

=SUM(Sheet1:Sheet50!C20

where Sheet1 is the first on the left and Sheet50 is the last you on the
right which you want included (US version).
