You are seeing a problem with the Windows Installer.
If you have the CD for Roxio Easy CD Creator Basic (which may have come with
your machine)--and want to keep that app installed--do a repair or update
install with that CD--perhaps via add/remove programs in Control panel--I
don't have a machine with that app on it handy to check what options are
available for it in Control Panel.
If you don't have the CD, or don't want it installed--and it doesn't show in
add or remove programs--you can use the Windows Installer Cleanup tool to
remove the installer bits for the Roxio product:

I've noticed lately on a couple machines that I've installed MS antispyware
that the computer will ask me to insert the Easy CD Creator 5 CD as though
it's trying to re-install some files for the program.
It's happend on 3 machines that I've installed MS antispyware on in the last
two weeks.
Does anyone know why it does this?
Thanks
..

Actually I had the link in Mr. Sanderson posting. I didn't notice it
because this cleanup tool sounds like something that should already be on the
menu. Anyway I downloaded it and it works. I can now run Anti-Spyware
without starting Roxio, which is now gone. Thank you.

Great. I do wish that tool were a little simpler--I recommend considering
uninstalling it after use--there's some potential for abuse or accident, and
you probably don't need it taking up space.
