problem-sound

i reinstalled my windows,and installed drivers for motherboard ABIT IC7-G
,but there is no sound,i v tried with difrent drivers(older and new one s),
tried in bios -enable onboard audio-,but nothing helped ,windows shoving
this message:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be
corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
If someone can help me with some advice or something i will be greatfull,

D\load `Everest home edition`
www.snapfiles.com/get/everest.html
Install and run it. Gives you info about your computer. Look for audio,
possibly `AC 97. Then you`ll know what audio drivers to get by Googling.
