I have an odd problem. I have a new machine (self built) that has an ASUS
P5B mother board and a core 2 duo. Prior to yesterday, I had XP installed
on it for a couple weeks and did not notice this problem. The problem is
that either the mobo or Vista wants to set the system date 1 Dec 2006. I
have tried multiple times to change it both in the mobo bios and in vista
but within a few minutes it reverts back to 1 Dec 2006. I guess it could be
a bad battery on the mobo but I'm never actually turning the machine off.
Any suggestions on what to look at?
