Hello.

Everytime I connect to the VPN of my company, my Win XP Pro SP1, after
a few minutes, starts by its own doing an intensive disk & cpu task
that lasts for 10-15 minutes.

The task manager shows that the activity is due to the services.exe
process, but in no way I could be able to determine which service is
responsible of that. I tried enabling/disabling a number of services,
but the problem still remains.

Anyone has an idea of what the hell is doing my system?
Thanks in advance.

No. Indexing is disabled, and the activity is related to the
connection of the VPN. If I boot-up the system and I don't connect to
the VPN (but do connect to the Internet), that activity doesn't show
up.

Any other idea?

Thanks anyway...
