Windows Mail has quit sending the mail that I create. When clicking send and
receive mail it "connects" and shows the receive and send mail functions but
the emails are building in my outbox and will not go. can anyone suggest a
fix for this. I can't find anything that works in the Mail Help drop down.

Julian and Brink, Thanks for your comments. Still can't figure it out an am
starting to pull my hair out.
There is one particular message that may be holding the whole thing up. I
cant delete it, move it or modify it. I'm running Windows Mail on Vista home
premium. Any other suggestions? It's a brand new computer (purchased 5/4)
and Toshiba doesn't have an answer for me and Microsoft is closed.
Aaarrgh!!!!!

So you have tried http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx
to clear the outbox, presuming that is where your stuck message is?

If not, download the utility and follow the instructions carefully,
particularly,

"If Windows Mail is open, or if a current WinMail.exe process is running,
the Database functions are disabled, and the WinMail.exe process must be
terminated before these features can become available. (If WinMail is closed
and these buttons still remain disabled, then perform a CTRL-SHIFT-ESC, and
under Processes find WinMail.exe and click on it, and then click the End
Process button.)"

otherwise the function you need, CLEAR OUTBOX,
will not be available.

I tried unsuccessfully to make the WMUtil to work many times. What I
finally discovered is that when you click on the zip file, you'll see two
files: the .exe file and the .dll file. I had to extract with WinZip each
of those files INDIVIDUALLY into the same folder, which was, in my case, the
Desktop. Then it worked and I was able to clear my Outbox. On my
unsuccessful tries, I'd only extracted the main zip file...and not the two
individual files contained therein. I hope this may help some who have had
the same difficulty as I in using the WMUtil. Jef
