I have completed a MM project that is 40 minutes long with music and
transitions between each slide. I began the saving process YESTERDAY and now
after 14 hours, it is still not done saving and shows there is approx.
2,111,345 minutes remaing to save! Is this file too large to save. The time
to save clock is still ticking. DO I need to stop and break the movie apart
into smaller files and then save each? Once I burn to a CD/DVD is there a way
to have the files play in sequence without breaks in between? Please help!!

Microsoft Movie Maker 2 is the easiest Program for editng your
Video's....ever....
1./JPG-files....are much more difficult to convert than Digital Video
Files..so you should realize this..
2./For audio you can use either...WMA or MP3....I've even mixed the two..
3./First Collect your Slide Show Photo's in the COLLECTIONS-Pane..you can
BATCH-load then into the STORYBOARD useing the CLIP-TAB by SELECT-ALL/ADD to
the STORYBOARD..
4./Next add your TRANSITIONS..and EFFECTS..create your TITLE Page and
CREDITS....add the AUDIO Files...last..
5./if you CLICK the PLAY BUTTON on the VIDEO Window in MSMM2 you can place
your AUDIO FILES at a exact SPOT in the SLIDE-Show..PRESS the PAUSE to halt
the TIMELINE..and NEVER----EDIT anything while the PLAY BUTTON has been
activated..use PAUSE or STOP..
6./Once you have filled the STORYBOARD with [jpgs]Photo's..added the
TRANSITIONS..EFFECTS..TITLES&CREDITS..audio files..adjusted the VOLUME..and
FADE-in and FADE-out..
7./I would suggest that your SAVE to MY COMPUTER useing the DV-avi LARGE
FILE..
8./or the NTFC[Large FRAME]WMV File..
9./DV-avi is for RENDING into a MPEG2 FILE that will play on your HOME-DVD
Player..
10./NTFC[LargeFrame]wmv...is a PC-file..poor quality for Home DVD-Player
playback..use the DV-avi File..found in MORE---OPTIONS..
...........................................................................................................................
That's about it for DVD Movies..
DV is a Camcorder FILE..and DV-avi is a Large FILE for EDITING..then its
RENDERED into MPEG2 for DVD-playback..
JPG is your STILL Camera FILE..and once you have set up your SLIDE SHOW in
MSMM2/SAVE in DV-avi for a MPEG2 File that will Playback on your Home
DVD-player..
...........................................................................................................................
I always use DV-avi....
I use the Large Frame WMV[ntfc]for a Computer FILE-only.
I ////X-port my video's at 216 KBPS as a portable Video Format...or I use a
10MB wmv File size..
...........................................................................................................................
In the MSMM2...TOOLS....Options....set your Transition Time and Author-name..
Auto-Recover....every 10-minutes...should be OK..............
..........................................................................................................................
can't think of anymore to tell you.....Practice makes Perfect.

its REAL Time...
