Problem(s) after installing Office XP Service Pack 3

Greetings

We have an Access application that was recently (about a year ago) converted to Access 2002. Everything worked fine until Office XP Service Pack 3 was recently installed at the client site. Since that time they are getting compile errors and a message that a library is missing or can't be found, but there are no References marked "MISSING...."

In trying to recreate the problem on our test machine, when I try to install SP# I get the error "The expected version of the product was not found on your system" error described in Knowledgebase article 837826.

Has anyone run across similar problems in conjunction with SP3, and/or does anyone understand what the error message "The expected version of the product was not found on your system" really means

Thanks!

Unless you are using the Full File version of the service pack, they are not
cumulative. You need to install each one in sequence. The easiest way to do
this might be to go to

http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/default.aspx

and click Check for Updates. This works similar to Windows Update. You can
find more idea for fixing Reference problems here.

Also, compare the references on a working and broken machine to make sure
they each have the same ones selected, including File Location if there is
more than one reference by the same name.
