Hi

When I generate a reply to an email all the fields seem to get filled
in properly, i.e. the "To" field has the correct senders email
address.

The problem is that after clicking on "Send" when the email appears in
the "Sent" folder the "To" field now contains the email address for
the account, i.e. mine! so the email gets sent back to me.

I've looked at all the settings I can think of and everything appears
to be correct.

Any suggestions where to look further would be gratefully received,
its a real pain having to manually create a reply.

BTW all program updates have been applied.

The same thing happens trying to add sender details to Contacts after
clicking on the sender field, and the email address details end up
being the account email address details.

Hello
Unhide all files and folders in Windows then search for outcmd.dat. Make
sure Outlook is closed and rename the file (eg: outcmd.dat_old) and restart
Outlook. Let me know if this helps.

No luck, can't find the file named. I unhid files and folders and searched
all of C: drive, nothing found.

Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and enter the following into
the Address field:

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

Click Go. It will be in that folder. Outlook ALWAYS creates that file so
if Outlook shows you an Inbox at all, that file will exist.

Kathleen, sorry for the delay in replying but I've been away for a
coupla weeks.

Your suggestion didn't help I'm afraid. I'm beginning to suspect
"Workgroup Share", this allows Outlook folder/contacts sharing across
a small P2P network. The server machine which hosts the folders/files
works perfectly OK, but the three client machines all exhibit the same
behaviour.

It's got me stumped, but I'm going to email Softalk to see if they can
throw any light on it.
